Shailesh Chandra Takes Charge As SIAM President
Tata Motor's Chandra takes the helm, with new Vice President Shenu Agarwal and Treasurer Satyakam Arya

The Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM) elected Shailesh Chandra, Managing Director of Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles and Tata Passenger Electric Mobility as its new President for 2024-25.
Chandra, who has been actively involved in the automotive sector and previously served as the Vice President of SIAM, succeeds Vinod Aggarwal, Managing Director & CEO of Volvo Eicher Commercial Vehicles.
The election occurred during SIAM’s Executive Committee Meeting held earlier today, where the members also appointed Shenu Agarwal, Managing Director & CEO of Ashok Leyland as the Vice President for 2024-25.
Additionally, Satyakam Arya, CEO & Managing Director of Daimler India Commercial Vehicles was elected as the Treasurer for the upcoming year.
