International media sources state that Mars Inc., the company that makes Snickers, has begun a global assessment of its agencies, encompassing influencer marketing, brand, public relations, media, commerce, and social media. According to the reports, the goal of the global assessment is to reduce the number of agency partners for the brand.
The evaluation, which excludes creative, is anticipated to be completed in 2025. The BBDO and DDB departments of Omnicom currently handle Mars' creative duties. Mars' media buying and planning are managed by EssenceMediacom.
Mars snacking, which includes Snickers, M&Ms, and Mars Petcare, which also includes Pedigree and Cesar brands, will be the focus areas of the review. However, the review will not include Mars Nutrition.
