Roshni Das, Vice President of Sales & Marketing Group and General Manager for Global Marketing Innovation and the India Region at Intel Corporation has voluntarily departed from the company after nearly two decades of service.
Das, who spent 19.5 years at Intel, played a pivotal role in shaping the brand’s marketing strategies and fostering a strong media ecosystem in India and globally, marked by impactful partnerships and innovative initiatives.
In a personal note to her media partners and friends, Das expressed her gratitude for the partnerships that have helped her drive significant achievements at Intel. “Many of those achievements have been because of the strong partnerships we have had together,” Das shared.
In July 2024, Das was elevated to Vice President, Sales & Marketing Group and General Manager, Global Marketing Innovation and India Region, from her previous role as Regional Chief Marketing Officer and General Manager for Asia Pacific and Japan, reporting to Global CMO Brett Hannath. Previously speaking exclusively to BW Marketing World, she expressed her excitement for the role noting, "Coupled with the fact that so many of these ideas can be tested in India at a fast pace, this role is a great confluence of global and local balance. As a woman leader, I also look forward to paying it forward to the future generation of leaders."
Her advice to colleagues and young marketers is that each person is the “CEO of their career,” encouraging them to persist with projects and ideas that align with their passions. “Marketing is about building hope and aspiration through your products,” she reflected, citing a belief that has driven her notable campaigns and partnerships at Intel.
Das also shared key insights she gained through her journey, noting that her role allowed her to contribute to initiatives that shaped the market landscape.
Throughout her career, Das has been a staunch advocate for a people-centred culture and a values-driven approach. She highlighted the importance of working alongside colleagues who prioritise “kindness and respect” and the power of teamwork. She also emphasised the role of curiosity, sharing her journey of overcoming hesitation to voice ideas and advocating for inclusive and influential communication.
Das plans to take a short break over the next few weeks to refresh and recharge, with intentions to return to the corporate world in 2025.
Her departure note included lyrics from The Carpenters’ “We’ve Only Just Begun,” reflecting her optimistic outlook on the next chapter of her career, which she describes as a journey that is “just beginning.”
