Akash Deep Batra, Executive Director and Head of Marketing, Customer Experience & Analytics (Consumer Banking) at DBS Bank departs after a five-year stint with the company.
Batra confirmed the news to BW Marketing World and also shared the news on his LinkedIn profile.
"FINAL STATEMENT OF ACCOUNT: LOGGING OUT FROM DBS! After over 5 incredible, fulfilling years, I am leaving DBS," Batra wrote on his LinkedIn post.
He credited Shantanu Sengupta and Prashant Joshi for entrusting him with responsibilities that allowed him to grow both personally and professionally.
Reflecting on his experience, Batra said, "The last five years at DBS have undeniably been the most fulfilling and rewarding in my over twenty-year career. Leading the diverse and increasingly very important functions of Marketing, Digital Acquisition, Customer Experience, and Business Analytics across the Consumer Banking Group with such generous, talented, and hard-working people has unquestionably been the privilege of my professional life."
He joined DBS Bank in May 2019 as Senior Vice President & Head of Marketing (Consumer Banking). Before his tenure at DBS, Batra was associated with brands such as Twitter, Nestle and Infosys.
