Mumbai Indians Unveils 'MI Superhero Verse' In Retro Comic Book Style

Mumbai Indians released a series of posters titled the 'MI Superhero Verse' as an ode to their team. Conceptualised by the creative agency Brave, this 25-poster series transports viewers into a superhero universe, where MI players emerge as iconic comic book heroes with superpowers.

Embracing the nostalgia of retro comic art, each poster in the series depicts a Mumbai Indians player as a superhero with superpowers. Leading the pack is Rohit Sharma, changed into 'The Mumbai Mogul', Hardik Pandya assumes the mantle of 'Power-Packed Pandya', Bumrah gets crowned the ‘Toe Crusher’, Ishan Kishan emerges as the ‘Pocket Dynamo’ and Tim David, ‘The Dragon Tamer’ and so on.

Goral Ajmera, Founder of Brave says – “We had a blast creating these with the Mumbai Indians team. From deciding the superpower for each player, to conceptualising the scenario, to detailing it out with typical comic cover nuances, this seemed like less work and more play.”
