Hershey India launched the #ChocolateCrazyWithHersheys campaign this World Chocolate Day. The brand brought chocolate crazies together to celebrate their unanimous love for chocolates with a relatable campaign that resonates with Gen Z and Millennials. This was executed in collaboration with ScoopWhoop.
World Chocolate Day is observed on July 7 to celebrate one of the best culinary creations of humankind- chocolate. It is an age-old saying among chocolate enthusiasts that chocoholics rise early, work hard, and earn money, only to spend it all on chocolates. In keeping with this, Hershey India kick-started its #ChocolateCrazyWithHersheys campaign with tiny love letters to pay homage to chocolate lovers on social media.
In the second leg of the campaign, the brand collaborates with ScoopWhoop to engage consumers via memes. Leveraging the power of memes, Hershey India shares relatable instances and moments chocolate lovers experience. To further amplify the engagement, the brand also teams up with social media influencers for creating sketches, to show how far they would go for chocolates.
Sharing his insights on the campaign, Ankit Desai, Marketing Director, Hershey India said, “This World Chocolate Day, we wanted to celebrate the most devoted chocolate fans who live, love, and breathe chocolates, given that we, at Hershey’s, have an indulgent chocolatey offering in varied shape, flavor, and form. With the #ChocolateCrazywithHersheys campaign, we were able to create a common platform for all chocolate lovers to celebrate their shared passion for chocolates. The core of Hershey's brand has always been enabling our consumers to enjoy joyful moments and celebrate togetherness, and we believe in showcasing this through our digital campaigns as well. Through this campaign, we want to acknowledge and appreciate chocolate fans who have made Hershey’s a consumer-loved brand."
