Duroflex’s CMO Smita Murarka Quits Company

Smita Murarka, who held the post of chief marketing officer for corporate and brands, digital has left the company Duroflex.

As CMO, Murarka expanded the product line beyond mattresses to include accessories and intelligent furniture.

She contributed to the development of customer data platforms (CDPs) and martech solutions for consumer engagement.

When the pandemic started in February 2020, Murarka came on board as vice president of marketing and ecommerce. She organised and oversaw the marketing division.

She also oversaw the P&L of ecommerce to make it a top brand on market places within a year, along with managing growth marketing. She also spearheaded the use of online markets and websites to enter a D2C company.

She was responsible for establishing the CRM framework and the strategy for the customer experience.

She spent two years, eleven months working for the company.
