Goafest 2024 Media Abby went big for Wavemaker India. The agency has been not only named the 'Media Agency Specialist of the Year' but also won the maximum number of Gold metals. 
Wavemaker's campaigns for Cadbury brands, including '5Star #NothingUniversity', 'Cadbury 5Star - #erasevday', 'Cadbury's #ThisAdIsMyStore' and 'Cadbury #MyBirthdaySong', earned them four gold medals. Adding to their win, they secured nine silver and three bronze medals, amassing a total of 16 metals.

Ajay Gupte, CEO, South Asia at Wavemaker, expressed elation at the agency's achievement to BW Marketing World stating, "I'm absolutely elated with the result and grateful to the industry, the Ad Club, Abbys, and the jury for recognising us. There's so much hard work that has gone into this - it's an investment we've been making for the last five years in building capabilities and doing great work for our clients."
Gupte praised the efforts of Wavemaker's 700-strong team. "It's a lot of hard work, and this gratification makes it all worth it", he remarked.

On winning the highest number of gold metals in the media category, Gupte attributed the success to their visionary clients and the team's relentless pursuit of excellence. "It's so good to have clients who encourage us to do better. Winning becomes a habit and the team looks forward to it."
He highlighted the crucial role of AI in Wavemaker's operations, from media planning and client brand discovery to creative optimisation and personalisation at scale. "AI has moved from a buzzword to a part of life, touching our business at every level," noted Gupte.
