90% Of American Children Under The Age Of 12 Favour YouTube As Watching Platform

Giraffe Insights, a kids, youth, and family research agency, collaborates with Precise TV to produce custom reports that examine the media consumption patterns of American kids between the ages of two and twelve, in order to gain a deeper understanding of the US family market for Precise TV and our advertising partners.

According to the study, YouTube is the primary platform used by children to watch videos, with 40 per cent of them spending up to two hours every day there.

More information reveals that more than 50 per cent of children request purchases from their families for items they have seen advertised on TikTok.

According to the report, YouTube Shorts are known to 50 per cent of children who watch YouTube. Additionally, it stated that 4 out of 10 children who watch YouTube also watch YouTube Shorts.

In addition to watching YouTube Shorts, five per cent of viewers also recall seeing YouTube Shorts advertisements.
