Coca-Cola Company has declared that the Indian market had made Sprite, a lemon and lime-flavored beverage, a billion-dollar brand. The company's effervescent soft drink portfolio and fruit drink brand Maaza have contributed to the company's India business's significant volume increase in the third quarter of 2022.
James Quincey, Chairman & CEO, Coca-Cola, believes, "Trademark Coke delivered strong growth through effective execution and occasion-based marketing."
He further says, "We drove 2.5 billion transactions in India at affordable price points through the expansion of returnable glass bottles and single server PET packages."
