In a recent complaint by a Mumbai-based woman activist to the state cyber police calling Myntra's logo 'offensive', the latter has introduced a revamped brand logo. The complaint read that the brand's earlier logo was insulting and offensive towards women.
The complainant, Naaz Patel from the Avesta Foundation NGO, registered the same in December 2020, demanding removal of the Flipkart-backed e-commerce and appropriate action against the company. She also took up this matter across various forums and platforms on social media.
In response to the above, Myntra has pulled its earlier logo down, while updating the new one on its website, app and packaging material. Myntra has already issued printing orders for packaging material with the new logo, as reported.
