BJP Releases Spoof Film On I.N.D.I.A. Ahead Of Elections

In an interesting turn of events, The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has released a video which shows the party taking a dig at the opposition, I.N.D.I.A alliance, ahead of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections 2024.

On March 26, the party uploaded a 2.23-minute video on its X handle titled 'INDIA Alliance Mein Fight, Main Hi Dulha Hun Right'. In it, the leaders of the INDIA bloc discuss how they are all candidates and do not agree on a single face to lead the opposition to the BJP, led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in the next elections.

In an imagined scenario depicted in the film, prominent opposition figures have convened for a marriage-related discussion, and a lady masquerading as a bride is present. Congressman Rahul Gandhi, seated in the middle, initiates the marriage discussion with the bride, who appears perplexed by the number of suitors.

The characters in the film, aside from Rahul Gandhi, are similar to politicians such as Sonia Gandhi, Arvind Kejriwal, and MamataApart from Rahul Gandhi, the characters in the video resemble leaders, including Sonia Gandhi, Arvind Kejriwal, Mamata Banerjee, Akhilesh Yadav, Tejashwi Yadav, his father Lalu Prasad Yadav, among others. As the meeting progresses, tensions rise culminating into a fight between the leaders.

"Abki Baar 400 Par" is a slogan coined by the PM Modi-led BJP, which aims to secure 400 of the 543 Lok Sabha seats for the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) in the Lok Sabha 2024 elections.
