On its 16th anniversary, Zomato has cooked up a clever marketing stunt, serving a dose of humour alongside a tempting offer for customers. 

The company has rolled out a print advertisement that playfully mimics the style of Indian political billboards.

The ad features a prominent photo of Zomato's Founder and CEO, Deepinder Goyal, dubbed as the 'Company Pramukh' (Company Chief). Surrounding him are images of other Zomato leaders, creating a visual feast reminiscent of political party posters seen across India.

The creative showcases the company's leadership team in a lighthearted manner while tapping into a familiar visual language that resonates with Indian consumers. Zomato positions itself as a 'party' that customers can join and support.

The celebration is a limited-time offer. For one day only, customers can snag a Zomato Gold membership for just Rs 30, valid for six months, adding a discount on the premium subscription service.
