Zee's Nitin Mittal Resigns, Punit Goenka Reforms Technology & Data Verticals
Zee Entertainment Enterprises (ZEE) implemented strategic changes in its Technology and Data vertical, under the leadership of its MD & CEO, Punit Goenka, with the guidance of the Company’s Board.
The MD & CEO has accepted the resignation of Nitin Mittal. In the restructuring, Amrit Thomas, handling Data Science, Kishore Krishnamurthy, overseeing Engineering, Bhushan Kolleri, managing Product and Vishal Somani, in charge of Enterprise and Content Technology, will report to Amit Goenka, President of Digital Businesses & Platforms on an interim basis.
These changes reflect an approach directed by the Board to establish a new lateral structure that places a stronger emphasis on accountability and results.
"The steps taken by the MD & CEO are aimed towards achieving a cost-effective structure, optimizing the resources and maintaining a sharp focus on quality, enabling continued success for the long-term growth of the Company", stated the company in a press release.
