TRAI Welcomes Atul Chaudhary As New Secretary
Chaudhary will come in place of V. Raghunandan

Atul Chaudhary has been onboarded as the Secretary of the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI), as per media reports.
He will come in place of V. Raghunandan who retired on 31 May 2024 who's exit came after 28 years of his tenure.
Chaudhary's leadership is expected to steer TRAI towards more efficient and effective regulatory practices, focusing on the rapidly evolving telecom and broadcasting sectors.
Chaudhary served as the Deputy Director General (DDG) at the Department of Telecommunications (DoT) in his previous tenure. he also held the position of Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) in 2021.
