Snap Inc. Appoints Ankit Goyle As Head Of Marketing, India

His previous stint was with Apple for over nine years

Ankit Goyle, who led Apple as head - category marketing and demand generation - iPhone and AirPods, has joined Snap Inc as its head of marketing, India.

Goyle noted, "After 9+ incredible years at Apple India, where I launched 11 iPhone models and collaborated with amazing colleagues, it’s time for a new adventure. I’m thrilled to join Snap Inc. as the Head of India Marketing, where I’ll be setting up the marketing function and contributing to Snapchat's mission of empowering self-expression and connection."

Goyle began as an account manager at Google before becoming an assistant brand manager at Reid & Taylor. He was then hired by Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail as retail marketing manager, and he later received a promotion to Van Heusen, brand marketing manager.

After being appointed head of marketing by Myntra, he then joined Apple as the lead for marketing and demand development for the MacBook and iPad.

Goyle created and carried out nationwide ATL and BTL campaigns using digital, print, radio, television, OOH, and activations in his previous position at Apple.

As the foundation for affordable deals in India, he created and launched INDIAiSTORE.com, a first-of-its-kind worldwide channel product, offers, and store discovery platform.

He drove digital transformation for Apple’s partners and distributors, enabling data-driven decision-making and enhanced consumer experiences.
