The Advertising Club is set to present the Advertising and Marketing Awards programme "Effie India Awards 2021" online on Friday, October 29, 2021, at 7 p.m.
Effie Worldwide is a global organisation that leads, inspires, and champions the practice and practitioners of marketing effectiveness. Effie Worldwide promotes marketing effectiveness by highlighting ideas that work and promoting intelligent discussion about the factors that influence marketing effectiveness. To deliver its audience relevant and first-class insights into efficient marketing strategy, the Effie network partners with some of the world's best research and media companies. Effie is the only award that recognizes what has worked in the marketplace and how advertising has contributed towards building a brand. It is also the only award that is presented to both the Agency as well as the Client.
The Effie continues to revolutionise the notion of advertising awards. Awards are no longer merely a celebration of the skill of advertising; they are also a significant acknowledgement of an agency's ability to establish brands via outstanding campaigns. Effie awards have become one of the most coveted honours in the Marcom sector over the years.
For the last 21 years, the Effie India Awards presentation celebration has become a calendar event for the industry, with the gala evening gathering 1500+ professionals from the worlds of advertising, marketing, media, research, public relations, and communication. In terms of participation, the India awards have also emerged as the world's third-largest Effie. Because of the large turnout at the gala and in order to adhere to Covid standards, The Ad Club has opted to organise the event online this year, and perhaps for the final time.
This year The AdClub has surpassed all its previous records to receive 950 entries, the highest ever, with as many as 51 Agencies participating. Post conducting three town hall meetings with the stakeholders it was decided to conduct the judging online for the first time and to add four new categories.
The Ad Club and the Effie Committee also express their sincere gratitude to 520 jury members for their time and support. As many as 317 Marketing Professionals, 132 Planners, 19 Media Professionals and 52 Specialists have graced the judging process this year.
