The Indian Racing Festival is set for its third season, gaining momentum with Sourav Ganguly, former India cricket captain and BCCI president joining as an owner of the Kolkata Royal Tigers Racing team for the 2024 season. The collaboration seeks to broaden the motorsport landscape throughout India.
The Indian Racing Festival, conceptualised by Racing Promotions is a carefully crafted motorsport event aimed at engaging India's expanding motorsport enthusiasts. The festival features two primary championships - the Indian Racing League (IRL) and the Formula 4 Indian Championship (F4IC).

The Indian Racing Festival featuring eight city-based teams from Kolkata, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, Goa, Kochi and Ahmedabad, will showcase high-speed action from August to November this year. Kolkata's debut adds an extra ooze to the season's competition.
Ganguly, revered as the 'Prince of Calcutta' and 'Dada' in Indian cricket has joined as an owner of the Kolkata Royal Tigers. His presence heralds a new era of prestige for motor racing in West Bengal and eastern India, promising a transformation and heightened popularity for the team.
