On International Day of Persons with Disabilities, Kaizzen hosted an inspiring collaboration featuring two extraordinary young artists, Khushii Kohli and Yash Bangia from Arts and Souls Foundation. These talented individuals demonstrated how inclusion inspires creativity. Beyond the mere idea of bringing a blank canvas to life the idea was to look beyond labels like disabled, neurodivergent etc.

In this inspired session at Kaizzen's office, Khushii and Yash not only conceptualized a uniquely beautiful piece of art but also guided the Kaizzen team through the creative process. Using palette knives, art combs, and paintbrushes, they transformed a blank canvas into a vibrant artwork that is now adorning the office wall. The session was a celebration of joy, creativity, and collaboration, with Kaizzenites enthusiastically engaging in the process and embracing the values of kindness and humility.

"In our day-to-day lives, we often forget our privileges and complain about minor inconveniences—whether it's a bad day at work or the absence of support staff at home. If we take a step back, we will realize that we have so much to be grateful for. It is about being aware, accountable, and appreciative of the privileges we enjoy," said Vineet Handa, CEO of Kaizzen. "It was magical to see the colors come alive on the canvas, but even more rewarding to witness our team connect with these young artists."

This heartwarming event was made even more memorable by the presence of Radhika Shaporjee, who joined in celebrating this extraordinary initiative. The session was organised in partnership with the Arts and Souls Foundation. Arts and Souls works with children from neurodivergent spectrum and uses art as a medium of expression for these children.

The young artists were accompanied by their mothers, who play a vital role not only in raising their children but also in spreading awareness about parenting children on the autism spectrum. Suvidha Ohri, Head of Marketing at Arts and Souls Foundation, shared her personal journey, saying, “I became aware of autism when my own son was diagnosed, and for that, I am truly grateful. I am especially grateful to him for taking on this suffering, as it completely changed my perspective on life. As someone deeply immersed in the corporate rat race, working for one of the Big Four consulting firms,  I was initially determined to 'cure' my child. It took time for me to understand that he is not someone who needs curing but someone who is special and needs to be understood. What he truly needed was an environment that nurtures his growth and allows him to shine. This is exactly what every child on the spectrum deserves.”

Kaizzen lives their motto of celebrating abilities, creativity, and the human spirit every day. This masterpiece of artwork stands as a testament to the incredible outcomes that emerge when diverse talents unite.
