Jaya Jamrani Returns From A Year-long Break To Join Castrol's Global Marketing Team

An IIM Lucknow alumni, she has worked for Castrol for more than 15 years

Jaya Jamrani has returned to Castrol's worldwide marketing team after a year-long hiatus. Former Castrol's chief marketing officer in India, Jamrani returned to the auto lubricant company as vice president of global marketing (cars).

Reflecting on her initial time at Castrol, Jamrani described herself as an "enthu-cutlet brand manager with crazy ideas, given the space to balance creativity & business delivery to making a LARGER IMPACT. (One of my bosses will tell you how I passionately ordered packaging worth 1.5 years for a new product launch. The work I have done on trucker’s health, mechanics, youth & women drivers will always fill me with joy!)"

An IIM Lucknow alumni, she worked for Castrol for more than 15 years, where she oversaw some of the company's most recognisable campaigns, such as Castrol Super Mechanic and Castrol CRB Truck Aasana, as well as strategic alliances like the Castrol-3M partnership and successful media and content partnerships, such as Castrol Activ Scooter Girl in the City and Castrol POWER1 Roadies.

In November, Sandeep Sangwan, who had served as Managing Director of Castrol India, assumed the role of global chief marketing officer for the massive industrial and automotive lubricant company.
