Sudhir Malhotra, who served as vice president of sales and marketing for Renault India, has resigned. According to an industry report, he will be replaced as head of sales and marketing in early 2025 by Francisco Hidalgo Marques, managing director of the Dacia brand in Spain and Portugal.
Malhotra started his career at DCM Toyota as an executive before moving on to work at General Motors, Daewoo Motors India, and Honda Siel Cars India.
Marques' journey with Groupe Renault began as an IT project manager before being promoted to director of marketing. He has more than 15 years of significant experience in strategic marketing, including the launch of new brands and product lines, network and sales management, advertising and marketing communication, and change management and leadership.
