Jaimit Doshi has taken on a dual role at Lenskart after his recent departure from Aditya Birla Sun Life Insurance, where he served as Chief Technology, Digital and Marketing Officer for nearly five years.
Effective immediately, Doshi assumes the positions of Global Head of Marketing for Lenskart and CEO of Hustlr, a subsidiary brand under the Lenskart umbrella.
Doshi shared the news on LinkedIn stating, “Yesterday I joined Lenskart.com with a dual role - as Lenskart’s Global Head of Marketing and CEO of Hustlr, their phenomenal successful brand. Thanks to the Lenskart team to allow me a chance to be a part of their tribe!”
The opportunity was presented during a dinner meeting with Peyush Bansal, Co-founder of Lenskart, as per Doshi. Reflecting on the offer, he remarked that his decision to join Lenskart was an instinctual leap into a new adventure one that he simply couldn’t turn down.
Doshi is known for his roles across various industries, he has often embraced positions that span from marketing and sales to digital transformation and technical leadership, even serving as a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) in the past. "I have never planned my career moves," Doshi revealed in the LinkedIn post, highlighting that his professional decisions are driven by a desire to solve meaningful problems and continuously learn, rather than by a traditional career roadmap.
At Lenskart, Doshi is expected to take on the challenge of elevating the brand's global marketing efforts while also steering Hustlr toward new heights. His approach to the role is grounded in a commitment to 'work worth doing', a phrase he uses to describe the daily engagement he expects with innovative strategies and transformative challenges. In his dual capacity, Doshi will be responsible for shaping the future of Lenskart's global marketing initiatives while also reinforcing Hustlr's unique position in the competitive global eyewear market.
Doshi’s arrival at Lenskart follows his recent departure from Aditya Birla Sun Life Insurance, where he served as Chief Technology, Digital, and Marketing Officer for nearly five years.
