Paytm, the widely used payments and financial services company owned by One97 Communications Limited (OCL), has partnered with the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) to offer its users a smooth train ticket booking experience as an authorised partner.
Paytm offers a variety of features to make booking train tickets and travel more convenient for its users. These include the ability to book Tatkal tickets, check live train status, track platform numbers and predict PNR confirmation. Additionally, the app also offers alternative routes through its guaranteed seat assistance feature, in case the desired route is not available. All of these features are designed to make travel more seamless for Paytm users.
Paytm allows users to check their PNR status and the train delay history for all the train tickets booked through the Paytm app or other sources. The users can also search nearby stations and check the PNR status of their tickets through the Paytm app. This feature is aimed at saving users time and making their travel experience more convenient.
Paytm offers a secure and flexible ticket booking experience by providing multiple payment options such as Paytm UPI, Paytm Wallet, Netbanking, debit cards, and credit cards. Additionally, Paytm does not charge any fees for UPI payments and also provides the option of Paytm Postpaid for users to pay later.
