IAA India Reveals New Managing Committee Members
The IAA India Chapter has revealed the names of its newly appointed Managing Committee members for the year 2021-22.
In continuation of the organisation’s endeavour, the members co-opted and invited to the Managing Committee of the India Chapter of IAA for the financial year 2021-22, were announced at the AGM chaired by the re-elected President, Megha Tata.
On the occasion, Megha Tata, Managing Director-South Asia, Discovery Communications India & President of IAA, said, "I am delighted to bring together such a wonderful mix of enthusiastic, experienced, diversity in gender and industry-wide representation to the mancom this year. Together we hope to continue to be the beacon of light of our industry.”’

P&G Appoints Sundar Raman As CEO Of Fabric & Homecare Division
Procter & Gamble (P&G) has appointed Sundar Raman as the global CEO of the company's fabric and home care division. He is assuming the role after Shailesh Jejurikar's promotion to Chief Operating Officer.
Sundar began his career as a market analyst in India in 1998 straight from campus and soon moved to the United States where he worked in a variety of roles from business intelligence to marketing, in P&G Beauty. A visionary leader with broad expertise and a passion for innovation, Sundar was involved in the launch of new products such as Tide Pods and Downy Unstoppables. He also leads Equality Inclusion for Fabric Home Care reflecting his passion for diversity, inclusion and the company’s Citizenship agenda.
He has earned his degree in electrical and electronics engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras (1996) and a post-graduate diploma from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta (1998).
India has been a talent factory for P&G worldwide and one of the largest exporters of top talent to P&G globally. The company has approximately 350 Indian expats in roles across the company with the recent being Shailesh Jejurikar becoming the first Indian to be elevated to COO of the company.
Ola Elevates Arun Sirdeshmukh To CEO, Ola Cars
Ola has elevated Arun Sirdeshmukh as Chief Executive Officer of Ola Cars, a platform for buying, selling and financing vehicles that it launched on Thursday. Arun was working with Ola electrics for the last 7 months as SVP & global business head.
Arun brings more than 30 years of experience in consumer internet, FMCG, retail and fashion industries, including with Amazon India, Reliance Trends and IBM Global Services. He will oversee the entire sales and distribution, service, marketing, customer support, and go-to-market strategy for the business.
Speaking on the announcement, Bhavish Aggarwal, Founder & CEO, Ola said, “Customers are looking for a new way to buy, service and sell their vehicles. They are no longer satisfied with the archaic retail store mode. They want more transparency and a digital experience.
