As GoaFest 2024 progresses into its second day, the agenda is packed with seminars, keynotes and panel discussions. Here's a detailed look at what to expect on day two of the event.
The morning is set to kick off with a session, titled ‘Gender-Sensitive Marketing: Navigating The New Consumer Landscape’. It will feature notable speakers such as Chandni Shah, Chief Operating Officer at FCB Kinnect, Darshana Shah, Head of Marketing and Customer Experience at Aditya Birla Capital and Kailashnath Adhikari, Business Head at Sri Adhikari Brothers and Managing Director at GovernanceNow. They are joined by Rajdeepak Das, Chief Creative Officer at Publicis Groupe South Asia and Chairman Leo Burnett South Asia and filmmaker Ram Madhvani. The session will be moderated by Kranti Gada, Managing Committee Member at IAA India Chapter and Founder of NeOwn.in.
Following this, Pulkit Trivedi, Managing Director - India at Snap Inc., will deliver a keynote titled ‘How Snapchat Became the Preferred Platform for Young India’.
The knowledge seminar will feature a panel discussion on ‘Media Agencies Panel - The Changing Expectations from a Media Client Leader and the Challenges in Getting There’. Panellists include Ajay Gupte, CEO of Wavemaker South Asia, Anita Kotwani, CEO of Media South Asia at dentsu, Tanmay Mohanty, CEO of Publicis Media Services India and Vaishali Verma, CEO of Initiative India. The discussion, moderated by Vikram Sakhuja, Partner and Group CEO, Media and OOH at Madison Communications, promises to delve into the dynamic shifts in media agency-client relationships.
Post-lunch sessions include the Rajasthan Patrika knowledge seminar where Zeenat Aman will speak on ‘A Story of Adaptability: From the Silver Screen to the Mobile Screen’, moderated by RJ Anmol.
Continuing the theme of adaptability, another knowledge session will explore ‘Marketing Adaptability: Blending Traditional and New-Age Marketing for Brand Success’. The session will feature Chandan Mukherjee, Director and Executive Vice President at Nestle, Sandeep Karwa, Vice President of Monetisation at Flipkart, Shubhranshu Singh, Chief Marketing Officer at Tata Motors Commercial Vehicles, Sukhleen Aneja, Chief Executive Officer at The Good Glamm Group and Zairus Master, Chief Business Officer at Honasa Consumer. Delshad Irani, Editor of Storyboard 18, will moderate the discussion.
In the evening, the ‘Mastiii presents Advertising Rocks! Powered by MIQ’ will celebrate creative excellence in advertising, setting the stage for the awards ceremonies.
The Abby One Show Awards on day two are set to cover categories such as Broadcaster, Public Relations, Design, Direct, Technology, Digital, Digital Craft and Mobile. Major advertising and media agencies expected to shine at the Abby Awards include Ogilvy India, Wunderman Thompson, and Dentsu Webchutney.
This will be followed by the After Hours Party featuring DJ Kumar Swamy.
