Day one of the Goafest begins with a focus on adaptability, leaders taking the stage, relaxation and more

As GoaFest 2024 kicks off today, the annual festival known for celebrating creativity and innovation in the advertising and media industries, promises a day packed with insightful sessions, live entertainment and networking opportunities. Here’s a look at what’s in store for day one of GoaFest 2024.

Sanjiv Mehta, Executive Chairman, L Catterton India, will present ‘Navigating the Age of Adaptability’ and will discuss leading with vision, flexibility and purpose in today’s dynamic business environment.

Harit Nagpal, Managing Director and CEO, Tata Play. His talk, titled ‘Adapt to Thrive Not Just Survive’, is expected to delve into strategies for thriving in a constantly evolving market.

The festival will also feature a performance by Bollywood playback singer Sukhwinder Singh. The official inauguration of GoaFest 2024 will include a lamp-lighting ceremony and a welcome address, marking the beginning of a series of sessions.

Following this, Tahira Kashyap, writer and film director, will explore ‘The Power of Persistence’. Moderated by actor Atika Farooqui, this discussion will focus on overcoming setbacks and achieving comebacks.

Indian actress Medha Shankar and actor Vikrant Massey, known for their roles in the film ‘12th Fail’, will share their experiences. This session will be moderated by actor, producer and entrepreneur, Neha Dhupia.

The evening will culminate with the Abby One Show Awards (Publisher and Media). The awards will honour excellence in publishing and media, celebrating outstanding achievements in the industry.

GoaFest has also organised an After Hours Party with DJ Akhtar.

Day one of GoaFest 2024 promises to be a powerful start to the festival, offering attendees a blend of inspiration, entertainment and networking.
