The election fever is at its peak and every vote counts. In Ghadi detergent's new film, produced by Headsail Media Services, a man enters his home with a stain on his shirt. He vents his frustration at the system complaining about how the roads in their area are so bad and full of mud because of which his shirt got spoilt. The way his wife smartly and playfully handles the situation makes it an interesting watch.
On the new campaign, Rahul Gyanchandani, JMD RSPL Group says, "As a socially responsible brand, Ghadi Detergent always raises relevant issues and this is the latest in that mission. The film touches upon the topic of participating in our national duties and not just having an attitude of complaining and being passive.
To change things one needs to be the change. The film has a strong brand connect as it talks about the need for taking action if we want the dirt and stain to be removed.”
Kapil Mishra, Writer and Director of the film adds, "This film is based on a strong insight that lots of people complain about many public issues, suffer from them, but don't even take a small step towards solving them. I wanted the message to be as much relevant to the brand as it is to the elections.
For the maximum impact, I used the body language of the actors to avoid any direct confrontation, used some props such as peas and the pendulum clock, thematic use of light and darkness, very micro expressions and the minimal but symbolic percussion music to make the film stronger in its communication."
