Disney Star Secures 7 Sponsors For IPL 2024
Disney Star, the official broadcaster of IPL 2024 has finalised sponsorship deals with seven brands for the upcoming season. Dream11, Vimal, Asian Paints, Charged by Thumsup, Joy Personal Care, Dettol and Amul are among the brands onboarded.
While the specific deal amounts remain undisclosed, Disney Star airing matches on its sports channels is seeking Rs 71 crore for co-presenting sponsorship and Rs 35 crore for associate sponsorship for HD channels. For SD channels, the broadcaster is seeking Rs 167 crore and Rs 83 crore for co-presenting and associate sponsorships, respectively.
The tournament featuring 10 teams is set to kick off from March 22 continuing till May 26, 2024.
