As the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity kicked off on Monday, Indian agencies made their mark on the global stage on the first day of the celebration.

In the Health & Wellness Lions category, McCann India bagged two wins for their innovative campaign 'Fit My Feet' created for Buckaroo. The campaign was awarded a Gold Lion in the Healthcare Production subcategory and a Bronze Lion in the Brand Experience & Activation subcategory.

In the Outdoor Lions category, Ogilvy India won a Silver Lion for their 'Taj Mahal Megh Santoor' campaign for Brooke Bond Taj Mahal Tea. They also secured a Bronze Lion in the Health and Wellness category for their 'The Impossible Choice' campaign for St. Jude India Childcare Centres.

However, Indian agencies missed out on wins in the Pharma Lions, Health Grand Prix for Good, Audio and Radio Lions or the Print & Publishing Lions categories on Day 1.
