22 Members Nominated For The 14th Term Of PCI

The Central Government of India has nominated twenty-two members for the 14th term of the Press Council of India, which was recently reconstituted for a three-year term. The nominees were announced in a gazette notice dated October 7, 2021.

Ankur Dua, Vinod K Jose, Dr Baldev Raj Gupta, Dr Khaidem Athouba Meitei, Dr Suman Gupta, and Prakash Dubey have been named under the 'Editors' category, while Gurinder Singh and LC Bharatiya have been selected under the 'Owners or Managers of Medium Newspapers' category. Aarti Tripathi and Shyam Singh Panwar are among those listed as 'Owners or Managers of Small Newspapers.'

In addition, there are 12 other people nominated for the 14th term of the Press Council of India.
