Sony Pictures Networks India has appointed Gaurav Banerjee as its new CEO, reveal industry reports.
Banerjee, who was with Disney Star earlier, takes over from NP Singh who reported his exit last week.
In his previous stint, Banerjee played a pivotal role in shaping Star’s entertainment portfolio. His responsibilities included entertainment curation for Disney+ Hotstar, covering multiple languages and overseeing original series and films.
He was also the in-charge of content for the network’s Hindi Entertainment TV vertical.
