Ola's Sidharth Shakdher Joins Paytm As Business Head

Paytm has appointed Sidharth Shakdher as its business head.

Shakdher resigned from Ola after a brief nine-month tenure, during which he released the consumer loans division, the Ola Loyalty program and the ONDC food delivery service.

At Paytm, Shakdher will collaborate closely with CEO Vijay Shekhar Sharma to drive the company’s growth and profitability.

With over 25 years of experience, Shakdher has held leadership roles at companies like Disney+ Hotstar, Samsung, Canon, HP, Xerox and Amazon.

Prior to Ola, as EVP and CMO at Disney+ Hotstar, he contributed to the platform’s global expansion and direct-to-consumer strategy. He also previously led Amazon’s third-party marketplace and category marketing in the US and spearheaded Dettol's entry into the personal care market in North America for Reckitt.
