J&J's ‘All Minds Matter’ Encourages Open Conversations About Mental Health

The Janssen Pharmaceutical Companies of Johnson & Johnson is taking significant strides to extend its dedication to mental health awareness. Janssen India’s 'All Minds Matter' a digital campaign across Instagram, Facebook and YouTube is aimed at helping individuals prioritise their mental health and enhance their quality of life by raising awareness about mental health issues. This campaign focussed specifically on schizophrenia and will now include Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) in its comprehensive approach to promote mental health well-being.

Mental health issues continue to be a growing concern in India and worldwide, impacting the lives of countless individuals and their families. To shed light on the varying mental health issues and aimed at deciphering the profound gaps surrounding schizophrenia, the company launched the ‘All Minds Matter’ campaign in April 2022. The campaign diligently strove to drive awareness, initiate informed dialogues, and enhance the quality of life for patients and caregivers grappling with schizophrenia.

Bolstered by the success of the campaign in debunking stigmas and misconceptions around schizophrenia, the company is now extending its commitment to mental health by focusing on ADHD beginning with the launch of a powerful short film during ADHD Awareness Month in October.

Many affected by ADHD battle internal misconceptions, believing it's an unfixable flaw, leading to untreated ADHD and a cycle of self-doubt.

With the powerful message of the campaign, 'It's not you; it could be ADHD,' Janssen India aims to dispel misconceptions, extend support, and urge individuals to seek professional assistance.

"We are committed to fostering a society where mental health is accepted, understood, and supported, regardless of the specific condition. Extending our campaign to encompass ADHD is a natural evolution of our ongoing mission to eliminate stigma, raise awareness, and enhance the lives of individuals facing mental health challenges” said Dr. Jitendra Dixit, Head of Medical Affairs, Janssen India.
