Media outlets have published a document from the Registrar of Companies that states that Patanjali Ayurved's overall income increased by 23.15 per cent to Rs 9,335.32 crore in the fiscal year 2024.
In FY 24, the FMCG brand's other income was Rs 2,875.29 crore, up from Rs 46.18 crore in FY 23. At the same time, operating revenue fell 14.25 per cent to Rs 6,460.03 crore over the same period. The RoC document states that on July 1, 2022, Patanjali Ayurved transferred its food business to the listed company, Patanjali Foods, which affected the company's revenue.
The profit of the Baba Ramdev-backed company increased to Rs 2,901.10 crore in FY 24 from Rs 578.44 crore in the previous fiscal year.
The notable decrease in Patanjali Foods' profit from FY 23 to FY 24 was from Rs 886.44 crore to Rs 765.15 crore. In FY 24, the company's revenue was Rs 31,721 crore.
In FY 24, the firm spent Rs 422.33 crore on advertising and promotions, a 9.28 per cent increase.
This year, the Haridwar-based company also paid Rs 1,100 crore to Patanjali Foods to acquire its whole home and personal care division.
