Viacom18 Digital Ventures' COO, Gourav Rakshit, steps down

Viacom18 Digital Ventures' COO, Gourav Rakshit, has stepped down from his position. Rakshit joined the organisation in May 2019. 

Commenting on his departure, a Viacom18 spokesperson said, “Gourav has played a key role in shaping Viacom18's digital agenda over the last five years. He has now decided to move on to other pursuits outside the organisation. We wish him all the very best in his future endeavours.”

Before joining Viacom18, Rakshit served as the President and CEO of People Group, which owns and operates Shaadi.com.

Rakshit has over two decades of experience in consumer technology, IT and FMCG. He started his career with Nestle. He has also worked with Planetasia and Infosys Consulting before joining People Group.

BCCL’s Malcolm Raphael joins Sideways Consulting as Chief Growth Officer

Sideways Consulting has appointed Malcolm Raphael as its Chief Growth Officer.

Before this, Malcolm Raphael was with the Times Group. He moved out of BCCL after an 11-year term in December.

At BCCL, he led multiple teams—trade marketing, branded content, Times Envelope (creative strategy) and innovations.

Raphael was also behind the launch of the 'Power of Print' campaign.

He confirmed joining Sideways Consulting with a social media post.
