TCS elevates Ashish Babu as chief marketing and communications officer
Ashish Babu has been elevated to the position of chief marketing and communications officer for global markets at Tata Consultancy Services.
He will spearhead strategic initiatives across various markets to enhance TCS' brand, reputation, and growth.
Babu has held various positions, including CMO for Europe and UK, director of communications, and held various roles in various capacities.
With close to 25 years of overall professional experience, he has worked for Genesis Burson Marsteller, Hanmer MSL, Weber Shandwick and Tata Sky.
His expertise covers brand strategy, demand generation, account-based marketing, bid support, digital marketing, thought leadership, content marketing, PR, media relations, sponsorship and events.
DTDC Express elevates Abhishek Chakraborty to the role of CEO
DTDC Express has elevated Abhishek Chakraborty as its chief executive officer, effective from April 3rd, 2024.
In his new role, Chakraborty will continue to propel DTDC forward, solidifying its position as a front-runner in the logistics industry. With a commitment to leveraging advanced technologies, nurturing learning and fostering collaborations, he aims to drive substantial growth and innovation for the company.

Before assuming the role of CEO, Chakraborty led DTDC as executive director for 15 years. He played a pivotal role in establishing a strategic partnership between DTDC and Geopost (owned by La Poste). He also spearheaded the DTDC and Amarex partnership.
Unilever's Kartik Chandrasekhar joins Kellanova as chief commercial officer for global markets including Asia and Africa
Unilever's Kartik Chandrasekhar has joined US-headquartered Kellanova (formerly known as the Kellogg Company) as its chief commercial officer for regional markets including Asia, ANZ, Middle East and Africa.
Kartik Chandrasekhar, who was to join the HUL management committee as executive director, personal care, quit Unilever earlier this year.
Chandrasekhar began his career as a management trainee at Unilever and went on to rise through the ranks as head of oral care and skin cleansing for D&E markets and global brand lead - Pepsodent.
He has had over 24 years of experience at Unilever. He started as a management trainee in 1998 and went on to take up different roles over the years. He was the global brand vice president for Lifebuoy and Pears for close to eight years. He has also been the regional brand director, foods, South East Asia for Unilever.
