Shaswat Goswami joins Sheela Foam as CMO

Shaswat Goswami has assumed the role of the chief marketing officer (CMO) at Sheela Foam in March 2024. In this capacity, he will spearhead demand-generation strategies for Kurlon and Sleepwell.

Goswami brings a wealth of experience to his new position, having previously served as a business analyst at Infosys and as the business head for Lipton Ice Tea India subcontinent at PepsiCo. Before his role at Sheela Foam, he was the marketing head for Own Brands at Blinkit, head of marketing at Gaana and CMO at FNP.

An alumnus of both the International Management Institute (IMI) and GGSIPU's Sirifort College of Computer Technology, Goswami has demonstrated his proficiency in handling prominent FMCG brands such as Kurkure and Pepsi. Moreover, he has showcased his talent in establishing private label brands from inception, spanning Personal Care, FMCG F&B, and consumer tech/digital-first categories such as online gifting, ice tea, and music streaming.

Goswami's leadership extends to leading high-performance teams within fast-paced environments. His areas of expertise encompass leveraging storytelling and data in various facets of brand architecture, brand management, media planning, new product development, and category management. He is adept at driving growth through both on-app and off-app customer acquisition strategies, as well as implementing effective retention marketing and re-marketing initiatives.


Tata Consumer Products elevates Tanmay Prusty as senior vice president, business - capital foods

Tanmay Prusty, who held the position of vice president and head of national brands at Tata Consumer Products, has been promoted to the position of senior vice president, business/ category head - capital foods (Chings / S&J).

Prusty started his career at ITC and went on to work across RB, Amazon and Oyo.

As the general manager and head of national brands at Tata Consumer Products, Prusty led the team and enabled market share growth and consumer franchisee expansion of the INR 3500 cr+ portfolio of brands like - Tata Tea Premium, Tata Tea Gold, Tata Tea Agni, Tata Tea Select, Tata Tea Elaichi/Spice Mix, Tata Tea Buff and Lal Ghoda/Kala Ghoda.


Duroflex's Amit Phutane joins Neeman's as chief business officer

Amit Phutane, who led Duroflex as AVP and business head - D2C and growth, has joined Neeman's as chief business officer.

In his previous role, Phutane led the entire front end of the business with complete ownership of revenue, P&L and all customer-facing businesses such as ECOM, retail, and modern trade.

He started his career at Wadia Group and went on to work across Disney Consumer Products, The Walt Disney Company, Kansai Nerolac Paints, Essar Hypermart, Ola and Bombay Dyeing.

At Bombay Dyeing, he led the ecommerce vertical by improving BDMC's market share. A new ecommerce and modern trade go-to-market strategy was laid in place and a product portfolio gave them a 60 per cent market share in ecommerce home furnishing segment.
