Myntra elevates Achint Setia as Head - Marketing & Social Commerce Business
Flipkart-owned Myntra has elevated Achint Setia as Head, Marketing & Social Commerce Business. In this role, he will build Myntra brand, loyalty program (Insider), user growth, content led commerce and Live commerce businesses.
"Starting another new chapter at Myntra helping people look good and feel good! Thanks to my teams, mentors and well-wishers," Setia said in a LinkedIn post announcing his new role.
Earlier, he was VP & Business Head, Social Commerce where he was tasked with building new social commerce experiences for the Indian market at Myntra. Setia had quit Viacom18 in 2018 to join Myntra as Vice President, Marketing.
Apart from Viacom18, Setia also has had stints at McKinsey & Co and Microsoft R&D. Setia is an MBA-Strategy and Finance from the Indian School of Business and is also an alumnus of the Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
Lenovo's Amit Doshi calls it quits
Lenovo India’s chief marketing officer Amit Doshi has called it quits with the organisation after over 8 years. As per reports, Doshi is in the last week at the tech brand and will then join a large packaged goods company. According to his LinkedIn profile, Doshi joined Lenovo in September 2013 as the Marketing Head- Consumer PC, Tablet, Digital.
He was then elevated to the role of director, marketing (India and South Asia) in June 2018. Being a part of the India leadership team and the Asia-Pacific marketing leadership team, Doshi was responsible for shaping the growth and equity of the brand portfolio and demand across all lines of business.
Prior to joining Lenovo, he was with Britannia where he worked for over 8 years. At Britannia, he started working as the Area Sales Manager in 2004 and later was elevated to several posts during his tenure, the last being marketing manager.
He worked in the FMCG industry for 10 years. Doshi started his career in 2003 as an Area Sales Manager with Perfetti Van Melle.

Anand Rajwanshi, former Publicis Groupe AVP joins Penta Esports as Chief Creative Officer
Penta Esports, the esports brand of Newgen Gaming, an India based gaming and esports company, has named Anand Rajwanshi as the Chief Creative Officer. He will be heading the company’s creative initiatives and bringing the brand’s ideas to life.
Prior to joining Penta Esports, Anand Rajwanshi was Chief Operating Officer with Azzura International, and Associate Vice President for Publicis Groupe before that. While his gaming experience spans back to Kreeda, Reliance Games and training faculties at Aptech.
With more than two decades in the industry, he is a seasoned professional delivering award winning creative products for brands like, Disney, Tata Motors, Nestle and Airtel among others.
