Creative Synergies Group appoints Malhar Barai as Vice President - Marketing

Malhar Barai, who led Affle as Senior Director - Marketing, has been appointed by Creative Synergies Group as the Vice President - Marketing.

In his past role, Barai drove the corporate marketing function focusing on brand lift, employer branding, PR and thought-leadership.

His roles and responsibilities included conceptualising and orchestrating integrated marketing campaigns. He drove campaigns to focus on brand lift and focused on omnichannel marketing strategies for brand building and lead generation.

Barai started his career at True Solutions and went on to work across Quinnox, Mahindra Satyam and Tech Mahindra.

As the Group Manager - Digital Marketing and Strategy at Tech Mahindra, he planned and executed integrated digital marketing campaigns utilising owned, earned and paid media. He managed social media activities and looked into media buying.

 

Lenovo elevates Kunwarbir Singh to Senior Global Marketing Manager

Kunwarbir Singh, who led Lenovo India as its Marketing Manager, has been elevated to the position of Senior Global Marketing Manager.

In his previous role, he was responsible for growing the PC Gaming segment and burgeoning Ecomm play as a channel in value delivery, while building inroads for the creation of the tablets and smart devices category in the consumer tech space for the sub-continent market.

Singh began his career at Titan Company and went on to work across Diageo India and United Breweries.

As the brand manager at Diageo India, Singh was responsible for driving performance with purpose for the brand. He was responsible for the top-line delivery of Johnnie Walker India while maintaining a healthy bottom line on the brand.
