BSH Home Appliances appoints Pinaki Gupta as head - brand marketing

BSH Home Appliances has appointed Pinaki Gupta as the head of brand marketing.

In his new capacity at BSH Home Appliances, Gupta will lead the charge in crafting innovative brand strategies for brands such as Bosch, Siemens, and Gaggenau. His role includes bolstering BSH's presence in the premium home appliances market in India, amplifying the brands' share of voice, and elevating their brand image to new heights.

Before joining BSH Home Appliances, Gupta held key positions in organizations including Kansai Nerolac Paints, Mahindra & Mahindra, Lifestyle International, Arvind and Nilkamal.

His most recent role at Nilkamal, saw him at the helm of preparing and executing strategic roadmaps for the brand across a diversified portfolio of product offerings. He spearheaded the repositioning of the Nilkamal brand and designed a new brand architecture in alignment with the brand philosophy, showcasing his strategic vision and leadership.

The Good Glamm Group elevates Ankita Bharadwaj as director - brand and marketing

Ankita Bharadwaj, who led The Good Glamm Group as head of marketing - Manish Malhotra Beauty, PopXO Beauty and Organic Harvest, has been promoted to director - brand and marketing.

Bharadwaj started her career with Marico, and went on to work across Reckitt and Organic Harvest.

As the senior brand manager of fabric and home care, Bharadwaj was responsible for managing a 300 crore+ portfolio P&L in the homecare segment across categories of surface, fabric and air care. She developed the new communication for Vanish’s ‘Win in Many Indias’ strategy, contextualizing laundry problems to sources of business as relevant for respective geographies.

 

Cleartrip's Aditya Agarwal steps down as CFO; Akshat Mishra to take over as head of business finance

Cleartrip has reported that Aditya Agarwal will be stepping down from his role as the chief financial officer (CFO) owing to personal reasons.

Agarwal’s departure comes after nine years of service at Cleartrip, wherein he was instrumental in shaping its financial strategy and organisational growth. Agarwal has been a central part of the Cleartrip leadership team and played a role in strategy, business planning and execution. During his tenure, he contributed across multiple roles, serving as CFO since 2020 and previously as the head of corporate strategy and M&A. He played a pivotal role during the successful merger and subsequent integration of Cleartrip into the Flipkart Group.    

In light of Agarwal’s departure, Cleartrip has shared that Akshat Mishra will take over as the new head of business finance. With two years of experience in the Cleartrip Business Finance team and eight years within the Flipkart Group, Mishra brings an understanding of both Cleartrip's operations and the broader ecosystem in which it operates.    


Leo Burnett India appoints Anirban Roy as chief strategy officer

Leo Burnett India, part of Publicis Groupe India has strengthened its senior leadership team with the appointment of Anirban Roy as chief strategy officer. Roy will report to Amitesh Rao, CEO, Leo Burnett - South Asia. The appointment comes on the back of the agency’s unprecedented growth and success in India, stated the agency.

Rao shares, “The appointment of Anirban is a significant milestone for the agency as it brings together cohesive strategic leadership to Leo Burnett which will play a critical role in our growth ambitions.
