Commenting on the win, Rajdeepak Das, Chief Creative Officer, Leo Burnett said, “Sustainable win in the second year in a row feels amazing. And that too winning for Lay’s Biochar project is truly humbling.”

Adding to the win, Dheeraj Sinha, CEO of South Asia, Leo Burnett stated, “We are so excited to win in the Sustainable Development Goals category for Lays. At Leo Burnett India, our expressed purpose is to solve for a billion. We want to use the power of creativity, data, and technology to solve for larger India. This case does exactly that. It solves the problem of air pollution in urban India while giving the farmers of India a sustainable way to treat the harvest stubble. Increasingly, brands need to go beyond giving people reasons to consume, we must be able to make the whole cycle sustainable. This project for Lays does just that and it’s very close to our hearts.”
