Britannia's Varun Berry Joins Asian Paints Board As Independent Director

The appointment of Varun Berry as an Independent Director for a term of five years, beginning on October 23, 2024, and ending on October 22, 2029, has been authorised by the board of directors of Asian Paints.
Berry, a seasoned FMCG executive, serves as the managing director and vice chairman of Britannia Industries. In January 2013, he became a part of Britannia as the chief operating Officer and vice president. With more than 38 years of expertise, Berry has worked for both domestic and international corporations such as PepsiCo and Hindustan Unilever. Additionally, he has a proven track record of success managing joint ventures, expansion companies, turnarounds, and start-ups. In addition, he serves on the boards of several other prestigious businesses and their committees. Berry attended Punjab University to study business administration and engineering.
