Bisleri made strides in 2023-24, increasing its advertising spend to over Rs 100 crore, a 60 per cent jump from the Rs. 63.2 crore spent in FY23. The marketing investment aligns with the company’s strong financial growth as Bisleri reported a total income of Rs 2,814 crore, marking an 18.3 per cent rise from Rs 2,378 crore in the previous fiscal year.
The company’s revenue from operations reached Rs 2,689.6 crore, with other income at Rs 124.3 crore. Bisleri also saw its net profit soar by 82.6 per cent, from Rs. 173.3 crore in FY23 to Rs. 316.9 crore in FY24.
Bisleri’s rise in advertising spending was fuelled by strategic sports sponsorships and celebrity endorsements. In March 2023, the company secured a three-year agreement as the Official Hydration Partner for the Indian Premier League (IPL), amplifying its brand presence on one of India’s premier sports platforms. Bisleri also forged a partnership with the Naseer Abdulla Lootah Group to strengthen its presence in the UAE, focusing on key markets like Dubai, Sharjah and Abu Dhabi.
Furthermore, Bisleri collaborated with the Ultimate Table Tennis League as its hydration partner through the #CarryYourGame campaign. The two-year deal underscored the brand’s commitment to aligning with a variety of sports to engage a broader audience.
With a strong emphasis on advertising and strategic partnerships, Bisleri not only expanded its market presence but also achieved outstanding financial performance.
Celebrity endorsements have been a key element of Bisleri’s marketing approach. In 2023, the brand signed Bollywood actress, Deepika Padukone as its ambassador, followed by Aditya Roy Kapur in 2024. Additionally, Bisleri has collaborated with popular figures such as Dulquer Salmaan, Ishaan Khatter, Palak Tiwari and Dino Morea for targeted campaigns, helping the brand connect with a wide range of demographics.
