Slice has launched a physical marketing campaign targeted at professionals during the appraisal season.
As part of the campaign, when customers place an order on the 10-minute grocery delivery app, Zepto, they receive a small purple envelope along with their order. Making use of the ‘Expectation v.s Reality’ theme, the envelope contains print on one side that reads:
“Expectation: A 25% hike this appraisal season.
Reality: (Check inside)”
When the customer goes on to open the envelope, they find inside a packet of… peanuts. The flip-side of the envelope reads, “We can’t give you better hikes, but we can give you better rewards.” Following that is a call-to-action featuring the line “Scan to get rewarded” along with a QR code, which leads the customer to download the slice app.
The campaign has witnessed reach on social media with multiple shares on Twitter and Linkedin.
