Report: Air India To Commence Merged Operations By 2025

As per a media report, the Air India group is set to begin operations as a merged entity in 2025. Sources cited in the report, mentioned that Tata Group airlines will complete their integration exercises by the end of this year.
As part of this integration, the Vistara brand will be phased out by the year's end, and the airline group will operate under two brands: Air India and AI Express. The merger of Air India Express with AIX Connect (formerly AirAsia India) is still awaiting approval from the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT), which the conglomerate anticipates will be granted within the next two months.
