News Anchor Manish Awasthi Moves To Indigo Group As Advisor
Senior TV journalist Awasthi spends 30 years in mainstream journalism and now steps down to serve in the corporate world
Senior TV journalist and renowned news anchor Manish Awasthi has joined the Indigo Group of Companies as an Advisor for Public and Policy Affairs. In a conversation with Samachar4Media, Manish Awasthi revealed that he started this new role on 1 July.
Previously, Manish Awasthi served as Group Consulting Editor at the prominent news broadcaster, iTV Network. Before that, he was the Editorial Director at the national Hindi news channel News India. This was his second stint with iTV Network, having worked there for nearly nine years as a Senior Anchor/Chief Political Editor before joining News India.
Manish Awasthi is an expert in field reporting and was responsible for iTV Network's flagship show, "Desh Ka Sawal."
Originally from Nagpur, Maharashtra, Manish Awasthi has nearly 30 years of experience in journalism. Prior to joining iTV Network, he spent about 17 years at Aaj Tak. He has also worked with Zee.
