Kedar Apte, who formerly served as the Mahindra Group's chief of international operations for the farm equipment sector, has been promoted to senior vice president and head of charging infrastructure (auto and farm sector), effective October 1, 2024.
At Hindustan Unilever, Apte started as an area sales manager before moving on to take on a variety of positions. He managed a group of 15 HUL executives as an area sales manager, overseeing the distribution network (70 distributors) to carry out the sales plan and hit the sales goals.
In his capacity as a marketing manager, he oversaw the popular soap portfolio and was in charge of meeting sales and market share goals.
As vice president of marketing at Castrol India, he oversaw both B2C and B2B marketing for the company. To create and carry out creative marketing campaigns for consumers and influencers, he oversaw a staff of more than 25 marketing team members.
He worked at HUL and Castrol India before becoming the chief marketing officer of bp.
