The financial results for the quarter ending on March 31 (Q4) of the fiscal year 2023–24, have been released by FMCG brand Marico. Sales and advertising costs increased to Rs 226 crore from Rs 210 crore in the previous year, a 7 per cent YoY increase.
The firm spent Rs 246 crore on advertisements in Q3, which indicates an 8 per cent drop in Q4 quarter-over-quarter (QoQ) spending.
For the March quarter, Marico recorded a 5 per cent YoY increase in its consolidated net profit, which came to Rs 320 crore. This represents an increase over the Rs 305 crore earned during the same time of the previous fiscal year. Revenue was Rs 2,278 crore, up 1.69 per cent from the year before.
