This year’s Bigg Boss OTT which would be in its third season, is likely to see a twist with Anil Kapoor hosting the show, instead of Salman Khan. The show premieres on 21 June and one of the confirmed contestants is veteran journalist Deepak Chaurasia.
Armed with an experience of three decades in TV journalism, Chaurasia took off on his own and ventured into digital media with 'Aage Se Right' in April this year. This move followed his departure from Zee News, where he served as Consulting Editor.
He was instrumental in initiating the half-hour program on 'Aaj Tak' on DD, and played a significant role in launching the 24-hour 'Aaj Tak' channel. His leadership capabilities were evident during his tenure at DD News in 2003, where he took charge of the channel's editorial direction.
Throughout his career, Chaurasia has held key positions at several prominent media outlets, including 'Aaj Tak', 'DD News', 'Zee News', 'News Nation', and 'India News', showcasing his versatility and expertise across various platforms.
Some of the other confirmed contestants of this year’s Bigg Boss OTT 3 season include Sai Ketan Rao, Sonam Khan, Sana Makbul, Sana Sultan, Poulomi Das, Maxtern aka Sagar Thakur, Dolly Chaiwala – the tea sensation, and vada pav girl aka Chandrika Gera Dixit.
