In the upcoming two-three years, Meteorology Data is planning to increase the number of meters by nearly 15,000, a joint venture between Broadcast Audience Research Council (BARC) and Tam Media Research.
The MDPL plans to increase meter count to 65000 by the end of the year, as per the report. It currently stands at 50,000.
Reports indicate MDPL is aiming to spend Rs 60-70 crore on capital expenditures.
